Sr. Digital Product Manager Circularity

The Senior Product Manager for Circularity will be responsible for aligning and operationalizing the overall vision and strategy for the product (Patagonia.com & All Digital Properties), including but not limited to inception, development, product launch, the customer journey, and the customer experience with the overall circularity product. Integral to the success of the product, the Sr. DPM will be expected to drive and prioritize the circularity product roadmap.
Patagonia is seeking a DPM who will work closely with Patagonia's team to create an integration plan for seamlessly combining Worn Wear with Patagonia's North American digital experience, technology systems, distribution center, and other cross-functional initiatives.
This role is integral to shaping the strategic development of all aspects of our eCommerce initiatives, encompassing product and customer acquisition, product preparation for resale, inventory management, merchandising, product sales, and marketing within our direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.
The DPM is responsible for guiding the strategic vision of the product and circularity product roadmap, leading effective collaboration among cross-functional teams engaged in the product's lifecycle and driving key results.
Concurrently, it will maintain transparent communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, safeguarding Worn Wear's adherence to Patagonia's brand standards in terms of quality and values.
In addition to being responsible for the strategic vision of the product, and circularity product roadmap, the DPM will lead the successful collaboration of the various cross-functional teams involved in the lifecycle of the product to achieve success. The role will help define and design the strategic development for all aspects of recommence; product & customer acquisition, product intake & prep for resale, inventory management, merchandising, product sales and marketing for DTC channels, and distribution.
What You’ll Do
- Align senior leadership’s vision and company’s goals to successfully develop the strategy and vision for the digital product.
- Work closely with Digital Technology, Digital Operations, IT, Creative Studio, Business Units, legal, and Customer Experience teams to establish and execute the digital product roadmap.
- Responsible for the intake of features scoping and prioritizing initiatives, delivery of feature briefs incorporating determined factors and key decisions. Scope and prioritize circularity projects and build roadmap based on business and customer impacts.
- Create buy-in for the circularity product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans with digital product operations manager, director of digital technology, and head of digital studio.
- Innovate the digital used gear product space to grow market share and improve customer experience to drive revenue growth.
- Translate product strategy into objectives, and acceptance criteria to lead into product discovery & execution.
- Provides input on and works in partnership with Operations Managers on resource allocation and timelines, that feed and impact the roadmap.
- Accountable for roadmap prioritization and capacity management, responsible for communication and cross-team alignment in partnership with Ops.
- Drive flawless global product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Champion the product by driving awareness and understanding across the organization.
- Partner with Customer Insights to solicit feedback on company products and services.
- Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships.
- Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.
- Cultivate partnerships and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop, advocate for, and launch new initiatives.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities and intended outcomes.

Experience You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in an Outdoor, Apparel, or Technology company, preferably with experience in managing a digital business or digital product.
- 3+ years of team management or cross-functional team management.
- Demonstrated success in Digital Product & business growth.
- Experience driving digital product development, enhancing site experience, including experience navigating day-to-day decisions and trade-offs.
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives and cross-functional partners.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations.
- Strong familiarity with omnichannel KPIs, best practices, and retail ecosystems.
- Passion for innovation in digital experiences and emerging technologies.
- A strong understanding of the vital link between technical teams and the organization, having the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions into existing workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Proven track record in prioritizing competing projects.
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and minimal supervision.

Hiring Range: $150,000-$165,000
Pay range: $130,000-$196,000
